Stuck with Mr. Reed in basement. I have tried many troubleshooting and still stuck

I have downloaded the latest version 1.0.9 (that is the only version I have ever downloaded)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game still stuck

I went into game setup and tried the different screen resolutions along with both the fullscreen and the windowed versions.  

I searched through all the previous discussions and no luck. 

I replayed

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to get this game working?

Hi SerenaWSU!  

Could you give us a little more information where you are stuck?  Are you stuck on a conversation and can not exit,  can you not leave the basement?  Is Jane telling you anything when you try to leave?  Is this the first time you have spoken to Mr. Reed?
