Mine cart bug!

I am at the lighthouse location and would like to get back into the minecart 
I turned it around-got inside - now there is no curser prompt to look down so i can activate the lever to get the cart moving 
Please help!

    Do you hear a cable moving sound in the area you are in?  If you don't it means the cable isn't running and the cart can't move.
        
    To get the cart working again you need to climb down off the cliff and walk to the other station and flip the lever up to turn the cable on!
