Can't trigger Mama's letter?

In Peril of Pemberley I've created a flower centerpiece twice, I've sneaked into the library when Clement is absent (so I've found the coins and the burnt paper) and I've moved the black chair but I couldn't figure out what to do with it so I just put it back. I can't talk to any characters in Pemberley or Lambton (Kitty and Pierre). I've read something about a peep hole as well but I don't know how to find it!

To get the first letter from your mama to show up you need to have:

Talked to Pierre

Picked up the dagger from the forest

and looked at and clicked on the saw dust at the bridge here is a picture of it:
