Scene: Martha and Lucy are just getting home from high school
Martha: -Sits down on the couch- Thank God we're home!
Lucy: Oh come on Martha, it isn't that bad.
Martha: Yes it is! The whole school is talking about it! "Martha Darcy performs epic fail during cheer leading try-outs"
Lucy: It's just cheer leading! Cheer up!
Martha: CHEER up? Really?
Lucy: Right.... Sorry. But seriously, I bet the whole school will forget about it by tomorrow.
Martha: Ha, I doubt that. You know how much they love to gossip.
Lucy: My point is that it eventually fades away.
Martha: -Sighs- I'm going to my room.
Scene: Lucy is in the kitchen with Jane
Jane: Hi Lucy! Have a good day at school?
Lucy: Well, I did. As for Martha, not so much.
Jane: Why is that?
Lucy: You know those cheer leading try-outs she wanted to sign up for?
Jane: -Nods-
Lucy: She had an embarrassing moment during try-outs.
Jane: Oh no, what happened?
Lucy: When she kicked, her shoe went flying in the air and hit the co-captain's face. And Jeremy saw it too.
Jane: Oh my! Poor Martha!
Lucy: -Nods as she checks text messages--
Scene: One of Martha's friends visit
(Ding dong)
Martha: I'll get it. -Opens door-
Bonnie: Hey Mar!
Martha: Hi Bon! Come on in.
Bonnie: Thanks. -Enters the house-
Bonnie: So I wanted to talk to you about the try-outs---
Martha: Ugh, seriously?
Bonnie: You'll be pretty pleased with what I'm about to tell you.
Martha: Fine. What is it?
Bonnie: You know the Birch Island Dance that's coming up?
Martha: The one that John is taking Kristi too? Yeah.
Bonnie: Well, now that Susan's face is all messed up---
Martha: This is only making me feel worse so far.
Bonnie: Now that her face is like that, you might have a chance at winning Birch Island Queen at the dance!
Martha: Whoa, for real?
Bonnie: Totally! I've heard that some people want to vote for you!
Martha: Wow! Do you think I could even beat Lucy? She is the most popular girl in school.
Bonnie: Well, I don't know about that, but you might!
Martha: This is awesome!
Jason: -Entering the room- What's awesome? I like awesome things!
Martha: High school stuff Jason. It's a long story.
Jason: Um, what if I'm in high school?
Martha: You're an elementary student.
Jason: -Stomps foot- Someday I will be able to know these things! -Walks away-
Martha: -Sighs- Little brothers these days.

Lucy: I found this cool website called Miss Clue Message Boards! I think it's a new social media.
Martha: Oh cool! Let me see! -Looks at her laptop- Ooh, it does look pretty cool.
Lucy: I know right.
Martha: People sure do have weird names though... Like this one, PinkyB. Who would name their child that?
Lucy: I agree. There's also CandyCars.
Martha: Is Cars his last name or part of his first name?
Lucy: No idea.
Martha: Oh look, iStella.
Lucy: That's pretty normal.
Martha: What's that? -Points to a discussion-
Lucy: Hm, Miss Clue Fanatic. Let's check it out. -Clicks on it-
Martha: ...Why is our childhood here?
Lucy: Um, I don't know. This is pretty creepy.
Martha: How in the world did they know about Harry Pierce capturing us?!
