Unable to Play

I haven't been able to play because the game right after opening the first chapter freezes on a screen of an outdoors area. Is this happening to anyone else? Also, does anyone know how to fix this? I've already restarted my computer and waited, coming back later to start it up, and it still won't load in the game properly.
