Scene: It's night, and in their bedroom, Martha hears something at her window...

Martha: (Is asleep) Zzzz...

(Something is thrown at the window)

Martha: (Wakes up, yawns) What was that?

(The sound is repeated.)

Martha: (Walks out to window and opens it) Alice, John! What are you doing throwing rocks at my window?

Alice: Get dressed and come out here!

John: Yeah, we need to hurry!

Martha: What! It's 12:30 in the morning! I'm going back to sleep...

John: Fine, I guess we'll just sneak into Harry Pierce's new lab without you...

Martha: Wait... Harry Pierce has a new lab? He's in Birch Island already?

Alice: Mmm-hmm, and thanks to the power of the internet, we were able to find its location!

Martha: I'll be right down there!

Scene: Martha is all dressed and is heading outside, but she accidentally woke up Lucy...

Martha: (Is tip toeing to the door)

Lucy: Ahem...

Martha: Lucy! What are you doing out of bed?

Lucy: What are YOU doing out of bed? AND wearing outdoor clothes, AND are about to go--

Martha: I get it already! Just go back to sleep, this is none of your concern.

Lucy: (Crosses arms) I'm not leaving until you tell me what's going on.

Martha: Ha, or what?

Lucy: Mother, father!

Martha: Quiet! Fine, I'll tell you, but only if you don't go and tattle on me.

Lucy: I won't, now tell me already!

Martha: I'm going to sneak out with John and Alice, to try and find out some things about Harry Pierce.

Lucy: ....

Lucy: Mom, Dad! Martha is trying to leave the house!

Martha: HEY! You said you wouldn't tell!

Lucy: I lie sometimes. Hurry, quick!

(Martha suddenly pounces on Lucy and covers her mouth.)

Martha: Well, then I guess you're coming with us! (Drags her outside.)

(Josh and Jane come downstairs, but see no one.)

Jane: I guess it was just our imagination..

Scene: Outside.

Martha: Alright, let's go!

Alice: You're bringing Lucy with you? Er, are you sure that's a good idea?

Martha: It was either bring here with us or get in huge trouble by our parents...

John: I do prefer not being grounded... Okay, let's get going!

Lucy: No, no, no! (Breaks free from Martha) I'm not going anywhere!

Martha: Oh yes you are!

Lucy: I'm not even dressed properly, I'm in my rainbow pajamas, how embarrassing! And what about the virus? We might get sick!

John: Oh man, we completely forgot about the virus!

Alice: Er, what are going to do?

Martha: We can worry about the virus later... Besides, who would build a lab in an area infested with a disease? Well, highly infested at least.

John: True. Let's go!

Martha: That includes you too Lucy. (Drags Lucy along with them)

Lucy: Let go of me! You brutes!

You really bring the characters to life pinky! I imagine so many things while reading! Like how Martha is holding on to Lucy, or the faces they make as they talk! I love where you are going! The only thing that would make this perfect is if Lucy was better!

I am a REALLY big fan of your writing, and I mean a REALLY BIG fan. It's so intriguing, and really scary when you want it to be!
