VFK just switched into single-player mode....? Plus I didn;t get this pop-up. I got the regular one. :-/
Means they wouldn't do server maintenance, yesterday it did go through and they didn't close. This time it was a lie ;_; I was trying to take a pic with two friends and right then it cut us off..

Yes yes I'm aware of what that pop-up means. I wasn't trying to ask for clarification. I was just a bit confused because I and the people I was with didn't get the same pop-up that you got. And considering no events were happening this late at night tonight, it made no sense for them to not do their nightly maintenance, y'know? Sorry, I should've explained more.

Hey guys! That is completely normal for VFK. Once a year for the midnight halloween ball they don't close VFK for server maintenance same with New Years because of celebrating the New Year - rings bell -. However, the next day it returns to normal.

Ohhh! Well, I'm not new haha, been on VFK for years, but I probably just happened to not be on those days, as well as many others I presume because I was in a trade room two days ago when that popped up and everyone in there was shocked (which some were very old players) But thanks for the info, good to know!
Yes.. I just wanted to double confirm that what @echo_panda has explained is true. VFK does not close for maintenance on certain Holidays such as Halloween and New Years. The game has been doing it for as long as I can remember in the past years of VFK. I guess, like you said.. Many players may just of not known because they missed those times in the past or took long breaks from the game.
