What still needs to be fixed?

I did good up until this point now I'm stuck. what needs to be fixed?

Okay this is what you need:

Spark plugs (in store room)

water for the radiator (Can in store room, water from grotto)

fan belt (in store room)

gas (in boats, can behind generator)

How do I fix the engine on the little train cart?

Did it turn off on it's way back from the other side of the island?  If it did, it needs more gas

I'm stuck! It says "I can't leave the engine running all night, I have to go back and turn it off." Where is the engine and how do I get it off? xD

I haven't played Miss Clue in a while so just now catching up on this.

In the same scene with the crank you should be able to click up and there is a place to slide a little cover aside and press a red button.
