Quirky Character Scenes :D
Hello! So I am taking a college drama class this semester, and for a certain project, my two friends and I had to come up with a character for each of us and each write a scene with them in it, and I wanted to share those with you today! :D
Before we start, here is a quick summary about each of the characters:
Lauren (or in on of the scenes QOTD (Queen of the Deer)): She is partially a deer ( she got cursed and now lives with the head of a deer), she is very graceful, and she is a member of the CHurch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.She is also french but has an english accent.
Lily: She is Atlantian (she is from Atlantis), her full name is Lilian Smokehouse, and she is an atheist.
Janice: The weirdest of them all, is the daughter of the devil and is a professional hot dog impersonator.... Yeah, that's the most interesting thing about her.

want to learn about the gospel or not?
Lily: No! I’ve
said that already! I’m an atheist!
Lauren: Then why
are we even here?
Lily: I don’t
know! I don’t even like hot dogs!
Lauren: Me either.
And who is that creepy girl standing over there?
[JANICE is
standing on the side staring creepily and waving]
Janice: My name is
Janice. I’m a professional hotdog impersonator.
Lily: [To Lauren]
How creepy!
Lauren: I know
right!
[Janice continues
staring]
Janice: Can I get
you something? A hotdog, perhaps?
Lily: Do you have any burgers?
Janice: Obviously not! This is a hotdog restaurant!
Lily: Oh right..
Lauren: I don’t eat red meat, and we were just leaving…
Lily: Oh yeah.. we were [nervously
laughs]
Janice: Don’t go yet! Father wants me selling to at LEAST two huma- I
mean regular people each day!
Lauren: No thank you!
Lily: Goodbye now..!
(This scene takes place in Laurens and Lily’s art
class)
Lauren:
Hey Lily! What’s up?
Lily:
The ceiling; you?
Lauren:
I’m good! Would you like these expired life savers?
Lily:
Sure!
*…1 Hour later…*
Lauren:
I’m
hungry. Do you want to go get some hot dogs?
Lily:
I don’t like hot dogs, but okay!
Lauren:
I don’t either. Let’s go!
*…20 minutes later at Weinerlicious…*
Lauren:
We’re here!
Lily:
Weinerlicious, interesting name.
Lauren:
Hi…Janice!
Janice:
Hello! What can I do ya for?
Lily:
Hi, what do you guys have?
Janice:
Ummmmmm…… Let me think… *tapping her chin*
Lily:
Okay…
Janice:
Let’s see… Hot dogs, hot dogs, and, well, hot dogs!
Lauren:
Interesting… *whispers* I guess…
Lily:
Alright, I guess we will take a hot dog each with a water. Let’s Go sit down
Lauren. If you would like to join us, that would be just fine.
Lauren:
So, would you like to learn about Jesus Christ and the Gospel? I can give you a
Book of Mormon if you like.
Lily:
Um, I don’t know. I think I can get a Book of Mormon, read it, and see for
myself if your religion is true.
Janice:
Alrighty humans! I got your hot dogs and waters. Do you guys mind if I sit here
and chit-chat?
Lauren:
Um, okay.
Janice:
YAY!
Lauren:
I was just telling Lily about The Book of Mormon. Would you like to learn?
Janice:
Well, I am a Satanist. So, prolly not.
Lauren:
Well, I can give you a Book of Mormon anyway.
Janice:
Okay! Thank you! Do you want to see something amazing?
Lauren
and Lily: Sure!
*Janice does hot dog impersonation*
Lily:
*whispers* Well this isn’t awkward at all…
Lauren:
*whispers* I’m scared!!!
Janice:
Do you like what you see? This is my other profession. I got a PhD in hot dog
impersonations!
Lauren:
Ummmmmm……… I think we will go home now… bye Janice…
Janice:
WAIT!
