MISS CLUE HINTS FOR CHAPTERS 1 TO 7

since these message boards didn't start till chapter 7 , and know there are some that have not started or completed the previous chapters to get to chapter 7 . This post is a help summary of Chapter 1 to Chapter 7

HOPE IT HELPS.........

MISS CLUE CHAPTER 1

after intro :

look around bedroom, watch your magnifying glass to turn red (just like doing angry planet journeys) , click on those things and store into inventory if you can

click on phone and it will give u message

move around room get to left side of desk top drawer

click to open it you will see room key ( room 8) take key ( click on it that will place storage area on bottom of screen )

go through brown door * click on door knob to open

go downstairs , look around and get close to refrigerator

click on key storage panel it will say boat shake is gone!

click back arrow and move around to right till u see stove

click on match container on wall , get match ,

move down till u can light fire under pot ,

then click on blue and white towel will show u donuts click on donuts and( make 8 donuts ) it will tell u when to flip then just read the prompts and also when they are done cooking all done making donuts

arrow back into room away from stove

move around till u see blue door move in toward door till u can get to door knob , if you got right spot you will hear scream wait and it will send u back to Balta street completing first part .( you will find pin in your inventory)

MISS CLUE CHAPTER 2

start at blue door , use arrow to back up a bit into kitchen

use the magnifying glass to find in kitchen and pick up the following

broom in cleaning closet ( between steps and brown door )

in server drawer under lemons and scale get cork

arrow back go upstairs through door at top of steps and go down hall till u come to carpeted stairs, take those stairs downstairs to foyer and living room area

once in living room go toward bookcase

click on book ( boating guide safety) open it

back up then and move toward middle of room , till you can get to the sofa in middle ( with foyer behind it ) click on the middle back cushion of sofa and get key (store key)

now go back upstairs and down hallway again to brown door on left go through that door and it will take u back down to kitchen

go out blue door in kitchen

start down trail till u see boat dock sign , go past that ( using right arrow ) you will see the boat house sign,

walk down that path to boat house , use your key ( from under cushion) to open door , now inside you will just have to move your magnifying glass around till it turns red .

In here you will need to find

bucket ( on floor)

mallet in tool box on stand next to barrel

sand paper on barrel

oar rings in box on shelves ( about middle shelf)

and finally oars under green canoe

once you have those items leave the boat house

go back to boat ramp where u will see your boat , take bucket and clear water from boat ,

place spy glass at front of boat, flip boat over by clicking on it, place cork from drawer in hole, use mallet to secure in place, click on front of boat again will flip back over

then take oar ring and place on opposite side of boat from the one you can see ( very small pin hole) then finally take oars and place at front of the boat .

that's it , finished this chapter , and will be sent back to balta street ( pin in inventory)

CHAPTER 3

use arrow POINT toward other side of lake just above the far side oar ring

once u get to other dock , walk down path till you see house and go to front door , click on door twice ( complete the conversation )

go back to your boat at dock and click on trap on right side of dock opposite of your boat , a macaw will appear

click on your boat where arrow is pointing, macaw will automatically appear in boat and arrow up to go back to home dock

once at dock click on macaw and he will appear in your inventory

walk through trail back to boat house ( use key from inventory) go inside and look for wood slats by barrel where u originally found bucket

move slats get bird stand , exit boat house and go back to main lodge

once inside main lodge go to your room (ROOM 8

place bird stand in your room by dresser ( left side) and place macaw on it talk to Macaw

use phone to call aunt

Leave bedroom and go back to the book case in living room , find book on parrots , open it

flip through pages till u see paper ( thats the recipe)

take the recipe and place in inventory

go back to kitchen

same as before light burner under pan with match , click on recipe and then donuts fry up a donut ( will be green)

take donut and go back to bedroom and give to macaw , ( talk to macaw this takes a couple clicks)

macaw will give you ring ( Realtor of the year ) once u place that in inventory , ends this chapter ( pin in inventory)

MISS CLUE CHAPTER 4

start out in your bedroom

go downstairs and out kitchen door walk to boat dock

take boat ( same as before use arrow pointing out into lake ) and go back to cousin's house

knock on door this time she answers and tells u go to library ( use left arrow and go through door)

while in library SNOOP all around especially the bookcases

look for the area in room where there is a world globe check the bookcases around there ( spy glass will turn red) the MORSE CODE book is there ( second shelf brown book by vase)

Move over by the chair with the floor vase beside it , another bookcase to look over the BLUE FAIRY BOOK IS There ( bottom shelf left side about middle its a blue book )look through it )

there is a paper there but u cannot store it , its a clue to figure out but not necessary to complete the chapter (USE MORSE CODE CHART FOUND IN MORSE CODE BOOK TO SOLVE CLUE)

Spoiler:

code reads : I love you my little Mongoose)

Back up into the room find the door to exit to hall ( DONT EXIT YET)

in the same bookcase as fairy book but opposite side (second shelf right side,near green book) move spy glass around there you can barely see a little green emerald colored dot click on dot and wooden mongoose will pop up and put this in inventory ...

back into the room and move arrow till u see ladder by bookcase , there u will find RIKI TIKI Book (brown book left side second shelf by divider of shelf) , look through it , notice there are certain letters underlined with different color lines ....( another code to figure out, easiest way is to make list of each letter and color match the colors and unscramble word and saying didn't need this to finish) there are twenty two letters and a . underlined ( i MARKED DOWN ON PAPER THE COLOR AND THEN EACH LETTER UNDER THAT TO MATCH then unscrambled the letters to make the words in clue )

ONCE you find the three books listed above and the mongoose piece (doesnt seem to require a certain order to find or to read the books completely just open and close them) go back to hall move arrow around till you can click on stairs , talk to cousin , she will say she is ready and on her way. this finishes the chapter and you go back to balta street ( pin in inventory) .

MISS CLUE CHAPTER 5

scene inside cousin's cabin she comes down steps and talks to you

follow her into library and talk to her again

take boat back to main lodge

go to your room ( room 8)

phone aunt

look at desk drawer where u found room key , there is paper opener take it and put in inventory

take letter opener to library downstairs and scan over to desk by bookcase ( left of bookcase)

hover spy glass over desk drawers , will say its stuck, use letter opener to un stick the drawer

open drawer take out box , open it by using different combination of pressing down spots

Spoiler:

starting left to right first row , third block over / second row : first block / third row : last block on right / forth row : second block

once open click on box and get wooden mongoose

close box and drawer go back upstairs to bedroom

get slippers ( shark ) on floor by bed put in your inventory

get books ( crystal mermaid books in drawer next to entrance door in drawer under bubble's picture) put in your inventory

go to suitcase open it

place slippers and books in it , close suitcase and click on it again till it goes in inventory

go downstairs through kitchen and out door

go back to boat dock and take boat over to cousin's cabin

go talk to cousin in library

exit library to lobby move arrow around till you can go over by red chairs click on the chess set

go back in to library talk to cousin again till she says about reading the book tonight in room

go over to bookcase by ladder and get tiki riki book place in inventory ( red book)

then go back and talk to cousin continue dialog until she says goodnight ,and this is end of chapter back to Balta Street u go ( pin in inventory)

MISS CLUE CHAPTER 6

starts out in anne's cabin in your bedroom there , she tells u to come to library

leave bedroom go to library talk to anne UNTIL SHE SAYS ABOUT CHECKING FOYER

go to foyer look at chess game ( pieces are missing )

go back to library and talk to Anne again,

move over to book case by ladder , u will see and hear dialog about fixing the books , put them back on book shelf in order it will say all done if u put them in correctly ( depending on color and hue of your screen it is possible to miss the darker brown books , so check on bottom to avoid missing any)

talk to anne again

leave there and go back to main lodge

go to room 8 and phone auntie

keep talking to her till she says about letter

go downstairs to living room and get the one letter to Anne on table on stand behind sofa ( click on it to store)

take letter and go back across lake to Annie's Cabin

go to library , talk to Annie , letter will disappear from your inventory , talk to Annie again

end of chapter

part 7 to follow

MISS CLUE CHAPTER 7

starts out in library of cousin's cabin

Leave there go outside and take boat back to main lodge

go to bedroom ( room 8)

call aunt

go down to living room

to get newspapers found them on otterman in living room click on them to store into inventory

go to front porch through front door , take broom from inventory and sweep porch , then move over to australian man sitting on porch and talk to him

he is hungry so go back to kitchen and make donut ( once you walk back into lodge go straight too door in far wall and then slight left will take you directly to kitchen and in kitchen use the brown door by the broom closet in kitchen takes u down the hall leading to living room to door to porch)

go back to front porch give donut to man and talk to him you will have to go back to kitchen to make him second donut and take back to him

leave him and go back to wooded area and go to boat house, open door with key

and put newpapers in there ( left corner by entry door)

go back across lake to cousin's cottage :enter lobby take steps upstairs to bedroom there at top of steps are chairs , with a piece of paper underneath click on paper

back up then go to your bedroom there

look on footboard of bed: you see another puzzle to solve

to solve puzzle:

click on top row till the word "click " is in all lower case letters ,

then click on bottom first button on left

continue back on top row looking for lower case wprd "click"

then back to bottom row , click on spot second from left

continue that same routine till u click last of bottom row

when finished with all u see and hear "something has opened".....move arrow to right side bed footpost and see open compartment.......take out bird and paper store bird and read paper .

go back downstairs to library talk to Anne,

move over to clock on mantle, click on clock to open it and adjust time to 6:30 place spy glass or arrow ( don't remember which it was ) toward left side of face of clock, keep clicking till u get the hour hand of clock to six, then click on right side of clock face and the minute hand will go right to 6

when correct it will say sounds like something opened.

leave library and go back upstairs to hall with pictures look for picture of woman in white dress holding pink flowers at top of steps

click on lower left corner of picture frame

picture will open and u will find snake and another letter , store snake ( found no use for snake this chapter) , read letter and then close picture

go downstairs ,

once downstairs go back outside and go toward boat dock should hear plane in back round end of chapter

try moving just to the right a bit of the newspapers u see already there..the ones you are carrying should turn red drop them there on floor....or if that dont work try another browser especially if using epic ( that had some quirks in first few chapters )

Here is a great explanation of the Bed Puzzle by @HoneyLemon:

---------------------------------------

Start clicking the top row of buttons. In the text box at the bottom of the screen it should say "Click" or "click".

when you find one that says "click" in all lowercase, click the first bottom row button.

then go back to the top and find another button that says "click" and then click the second button in the bottom row.

Continue doing this until all of the bottom row buttons are pressed down.

It should open after that.

If you got the bed post open then you should be able to pick up a little wooden bird and read a note. after that go talk to Anne! Hope this helps!
