Some of the tips are not in order . Am I missing something? I talked to anne. I put book from shelf in inventory . I talked to Mr. Pierce and Aunt in that order. She talked about the Scottish but I cant get it off the self it does not appear. I cant get alex to talk to me . Which means I cant get key . I followed all Disfaniam directions even though it would not let me do them in the order posted. What do I do next? Twinkles hugs

    disfaniam's hints are spot on and in order I found that out , I tried this on my own (big mistake) and got myself out of order also  then I saw her post so had to go back to first part of talking to Anne in library at cottage , then went to lodge and redid it the exact way she wrote it it eventually worked out in the end
