Need help on Ice Wizard Quest (Day One)

I need help finding the items on the Quest, I checked every room on the list, but nothing has changed. No items (except for the items that have always been there) at all. Is there something wrong with the Quest or is there something I need to do? I looked everywhere but there aren't any magical items. Are they hard to find?
