Miss Clue Fanatic Part Nine!
Scene: Martha and Lucy find the source of the cry; Andrew
Lucy: Andrew? Is that you?
Andrew: They took her away, they took her away!
Martha: Who took who away?
Andrew: They took my mommy! I mean mom.
Lucy: Oh no! Anne!
Martha: Who is the they??
Andrew: -Sighs and shakes head- Do I have to say?
Martha: Yes, we have to know this.
Andrew: It was my dad... Along with Harry Pierce.
Lucy: What!? Why would he do such a thing?
Martha: And with Pierce? But didn't he kidnap cousin Richard?
Andrew: That's what we all thought... He seemed to be a totally different person!
Lucy: Explain.
(Flash back...)
Richard: -Bursts in through the back door-
Andrew: -Gasps and shows a huge smile- DAD!!!
Andrew: -Runs over and hugs him-
Richard: Move it kid. -Pushes him aside-
Andrew: Dad...?
Harry: -Enters through the back door-
Andrew: Hey! You aren't welcomed here! GET OUT!
Anne: -Rushes inside the room- What's going on here??
Andrew: Mom! Dad is back, and Harry is trying to take him away!
Anne: Richard? Is that really you?
Harry: -Whispers into Richard's ear- Do it.
Richard: -Nods and grabs Anne-
Andrew: Let her go!
(End of flash back)
Andrew: I can't tell anymore, it's just too much.
Martha: I'm so sorry Andrew.
Lucy: You should come home with us. Our parents won't mind.
Martha: You'll be safe there, and they could help with the situation.
Andrew: -Sniffles- Okay...
Next scene: Alice calls John
Alice: Hey John, I've decided about the club and...
John: No need to decide!
Alice: What? Why?
John: The council changed their mind!
Alice: So the club isn't being re-located?
John: Nope. We're staying.
Alice: Best news ever!
John: I guess so.
Alice: I know you were excited, but this town isn't bad!
John: I know, it's not about the town.
Alice: Then why do you want to leave?
John: ...For an escape.
Alice: What do you mean?
