Pets/Mounts games/contests

As we all know, most all of the pets have the option of "Mount" or riding them, "pick up" for the smaller pets such as the kitties and the puppies, etc, and the "Progress" for the pets that will eventually become mounts.

There are a lot of different pets. We have dragons, the ostrich, the dolphin (New) the bear (New) horses, butterfly, etc.

Here's an idea and I'm not sure how easily it would be to achieve.

For the smaller pets (rocks, pumpkins, kitties, puppies, basically any that we can pick up):

Idea 1) animate them so that when they are in a room with furniture they randomly jump up on it and curl up. Much like actual pets.

Idea 2) create an agility course where we can train and practice getting our pets over a one bar jump, a two bar jump, a zig zag through some poles, run through a tunnel, and go up and over a see-saw. After we feel that they are trained enough, (or have enough agility points) we can then enter a contest room. We see who's pet has the fastest time on the course, and who's pet can make it through without any faults. The faults and the time depends on how often you spend training the pet.

Idea 3) The pets are trainable. Train them to sit, (we already have stay), stand, roll over, high five, etc. The more we practice with these commands, the better and quicker they are at doing what we ask. Once they have enough "Obedience points" we can enter them in a contest. Again, the more you train with your pet (who learns better at home) will determine how quickly they follow the command, and do the right command. The higher score and less time for each required command in the contest determines the winner.

Idea 4) We are able to train with our pets with a frisbee or a tennis ball. We throw the ball/frisbee and they run to catch it in the air. The farther out they can catch it, the more points. The closer they are to their owner, the less points received. If the frisbee/ball is dropped, or the pet misses it, no points awarded. A time limit is set, so the faster your pet runs back to you and hands off the frisbee/ball the quicker you can throw it again for more points. Speed and the ability to catch the frisbee/ball depends on the amount of time training. (Disc throw points would be the points for this contest).

For the mountable pets:

Idea 1) For our horses, or ground mounts, create an agility course. This is more along the lines of a horse jumping course, so fences of various heights, fallen logs, streams, ponds, etc. The more time spent training, the more Jump points received and the more confident your mount becomes, as well as faster. Another contest that we could enter.

Idea 2) For all the mounts that fly, create an air agility course along the same lines, however, it's rings, and different floating items that the mounts would need to navigate. Agility points for this one.


If a contest would be too much to do, create a type of game. That way there's no events that we have to wait for or it depends on how often people are able to get on. We could train at our own pace, and when we thing our pets are ready, we could try our luck.

There would be different classes for each contest/game, and you move up once you receive the proper score needed. I'm not sure what the scoring would be. Everyone would receive some sort of award every time they played/competed, but if you can get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd you get a larger reward. Limit the amount of pets/players to each game/contest to 10.

Beginner Class
Intermediate Class
Expert Class
Master Class
Championship Class

It could be set up much like the lobbies we already have for Sleepy Hollow, Laser Tag, Night Fighters, Pirates. Many different lobbies that allow for multiple games/contests at once. There should also be a practice lobby off the main lobby, and maybe lobby where we can play against NPCs for those of us who are unable to play with others.

It's just an idea. I hope this makes sense to everyone!!!
