Winter Enchantment Idea

Hi all! I know it's only November but I'm pumped for winter time so I thought I'd share an FX idea :)

I really love icy, pale winter colours, but I've noticed that we have sooo many blue enchantments, so I'd really love to have a frosty lavender winter FX! 

I made a very rough edit of what I envision (sorry for the poor quality):

It's kind of hard to make out, but I called it "Winter Wonderland". Since the quality of the edit is so poor, I've included the background image that I used/gained inspiration from down below. 

The snowy magics we've had in the past have a pretty intense snowfall effect, so I think it would be nice to have a magic with a slower snowfall/light flurry effect. I envision icy snowflakes that rotate as they fall and sparkle as they "catch the light" if you will. Kind of hard to explain so I included some gifs below of some possible inspo :)

Tomorrow

One of my favorite aspects of snow is how slowly and gracefully it falls and I agree that every icy/snow FX we have had so far (Snowflakes, Blizzard, Avalanche, Icicle Storm) are all so intense. It would be nice to have a softer effect, and softer colors too.

I think you made a great edit! We definitely have far too many blue enchantments -- more than any other color. Lavender would be a nice change and certainly fits the winter theme! I love the twinkle effects you added below too, wonderful suggestions.
