    Anne's father hid it, yes, but that doesn't mean the thief knew he did, he might have thought it was in her fathers other papers.

    Oh, I see what you mean, well.  Her father wrote to several companies telling them about it, and also his lab assistant would know about it, and possibly some other people.  Things have a way of getting around.

    When you press each letter, it should light up a letter on the panel.  Write it down as you type in "The mongoose shows the way"  Sometimes two letters will light up

    Once you type in the mongoose shows the way into the code machine it will know you solved it!
