Every time I start the IV part of Miss Clue, my inventory empties

When I play the IV Miss Clue, my inventory automatically empties at the beginning and it's as if I have to start over by collecting things for the boat and feeding the parrot. Once I get the ring, it starts all over again. I've even tried starting over from the beginning. Please help!

    @Guest185604 The developers will be monitoring your game, could you try playing through chapter IV and see if the problem persists to chapter V?  If it does, the developers should have enough data to address any issues.
