Can't Move!

So I just got to the part where I am looking for Jane's boat, and I am looking on the other side of the island. I turned left at Anne's house, and now I'm stuck. Literally. It just says "**traveling**" at the bottom and the screen is seemingly frozen at the woods behind the house, except I can still click on my inventory. I've clicked on just about every inch of the screen, but to no avail. I can't save the game either because apparently I can't save at this part of the game. Help!

  • Hi @CleanFreezingRobin,

Welcome to the Miss Clue community!

We noticed that you had just sent an e-mail also regarding this problem, and you should have a reply waiting for you in your Inbox now!

  • Also, below are instruction on how to send a saved game so we can find the issue, make an update to fix it and send you back a saved game so you can continue your mystery from where you left off!

The game auto-saves continuously, though the auto-save file may not be in a state that is usable without modification.

A quick way for us to find the problem, is for you to send us a copy of your latest auto-saved game file via email!

This will allow us to recover your saved game and investigate the issue!

    For Mac:

You can find the folder, by opening Finder, clicking the "Go" menu in the top bar, then clicking "Go To Folder...".

In the window that opens, enter this text, and press Enter:

        ~/Library/Application Support/com.missclue.formulafordanger/Local Store/saves

    For Windows:

You can open the folder, by holding the Windows Key, and pressing R, to bring up the "Run Box".

Then, paste the path below into the Run field, and press enter, or click OK:

        %APPDATA%\com.missclue.formulafordanger\Local Store\saves

The folder that opens will contain one file labeled "activeSave_XXXXXXXXXX.gsv"

If you have run Formula For Danger since you encountered the issue, you will want the activeSave file with a date modified closest to when you had the problem, in the sub-folder labeled "archived"

Once you find the file, you can then send it to us as an attachment at Support@MissClue.com

Let us know if you need any additional information on how to find or send the save game!
